Week 6 Part A: Engaging Your Customers - FaceBook Strategy

I did some research on Facebook Pages that I think it has benefits for my strategies connections. Since my Facebook Page is not real yet, and I couldn't create it unless I am an affiliate, I wasn't able to actually like them. But if I could like them, they would be:

Keiko Sports USA - Clothing brand for Kimonos and special clothes for the sport. I think they are an important connection because we can make a partnership for retail and uniforms.

IBJJF - (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) - The international federation of Jiu Jitsu is definitely the biggest page I could like and follow. Mainly because they have all the updates, competitions and potential students checking the page regularly, so it's a good way to prospect.

Checkmat Headquarters - Gym that we would become an affiliate. It's good if they can promote us as an affiliate to help us create a better network and advertise seminars and other events

Monkey Tape - Tape brand that is necessary for joints. We could also do a partnership and sell their products.

Flograppling - Main streaming channel of Jiu Jitsu competitions. Everyone who enjoys watching the sport has to sign the subscription to watch anything. It would be positive for us if we could be present in their environment and have the gym on the channel as a way to do out publicity

ADCC - The biggest grappling event, where probably our students and possible new students will be competing

Gabriel Todd Almeida - The page of the instructor and Headcoach

BJJ Fanatics - Website/Social media that sells videos of instructors providing techniques of the sport. The coach, Gabriel, already has videos that they are selling, so using the media to promote his video will bring us revenue with the sales, plus it shows a good and professional image having the instructor with a special technique he is selling.

While analyzing the pages, I have noticed that all of them speak by images and videos more than written text. The ones with brands of retail post their products and short description of them, but focusing on the visual and how it looks when Athletes wear them. For pages related to the sport, mostly the have videos of previous fights and upcoming events. I can tell that it seems that the posts are tied to Instagram, since most of them has the same style and size of the Instagram posts. Generally all pages are active, some more than others, and all of them has a good amount of like/followers, or at least, good for us to benefit from it. Although not all of them have a big engagement from their followers, the ones with less followers and less content doesnt have a great amount of likes and comments in their posts.

I learned from them that images are a great way to communicate and being visual rather than posting long texts is a good strategy to hold the attention. Also, it might be a good idea to tie the Instagram with Facebook that way your content can be seeing in two different platforms.
