Week 12 Part B: Business Specific Tools
Blogs that I commented:
Daphne Demarchi
Frank O'Connor
Matt
It is always interesting to see my colleges work and research. For this assignment I could see different points of view and similar ones as well about tools in social media.
It was very cool to read Daphne's post about her opinion on TikTok, that goes different than all other blogs I've read and it made me think about the algorithm as well, plus to see that show could relate her personal experience with Meetup is very interesting too!
It is good to see that looking so many people talking about Linkedin made me do some research on it, since before I already had the judgment that it wouldnt work for me and didn't want to focus my research on it. But now I can see that it would be good too to have Gabriel's profile over there with his background as a coach and other victories and skills he has, that way when people search for his classes, they have Linkedin as something more professional to tell who he is. To me personally I plan to have a Linkedin account once I graduate or if I want to start looking for jobs rather than having my own business and I need to search for some job listings. I believe Linkedin is the right place to go for that.
It was good to see Frank's opinion about Likedin and how much it helped him in the past, I think readind his blog changed my mind about this platform.
This research made me think in social networking out of the box, expanding the ways I used to see before in a limited manner. Good thing about all platforms is that they are free so I can try them out and see if they work for me or not, it doesnt hurt to try, although I believe for all of them you need some commiment and efforts to be consistent and patience to wait the outcome.
